Its a pretty cool spot with choice of Colombian or Peruvian food. Don Lucho is a bit eccentric, left me talking by myself while I was ordering food to start taking another order across from the place. I had Chicharrones, they were a bit hard to chew, maybe the batch wasn't perfect, I would come back again to get a final verdict. But the service was good.
It’s basically 2 restaurants in one. Peruvian and Colombian food in one location. Have tried both and can attest both taste so authentic you think your Tia made it. Even if you haven’t had either one before tastes are simple and fresh that anyone can enjoy.
My best dishes are Lomo Saltado and Pescado a la Chorrillana. My 3 kids love the Chaufa de Pollo. This place is a mopm n pop place with Lucho as a host. Pretty friendly service. I recommend to try “Choritos a la Chalaca” if you like sea food. I can go and try his lomo every single day. The green spicy sauce is served unlimmited, and I love it.
Food is delicius, I eat here since 20 years ago food is spectacular big plates, now they have Made in Medallo were the food is also delicius, nice mix Peruvian and Colombia food on the same place. You will be happy here, Fresh food and the personal here always are really nice. recommend 100% 🙏🏼👍
Ordered the Lomo Saltado, good price and great portion. I just wish it had a lil more flavor. Had the fried calamari, which was nice fresh and loved the topping, and used the topping from that and it added the right pop. The two chefs, not sure if owners, were very nice and worked hard and fast. They use filet mignon which is nice but I'm more of a ribeye person but still enjoyed it, thoroughly. Those sweet people do good work.
Service was quick. Limited drinks availability, food taste was not what I expected, we have experienced many other Peruvian restaurants with much better seasoning. The chaufa de camarones was overloaded with chive onions and had no seasoning. And the Lomo saltado was ok,

Spectacular! The food is really fantastic. There were 3 people (all Latinos so we really know this kind of foofd) in our group and we all ate different things to try out as much as possible from the menu and everything was excellent and cooked fresh in front of us.
